I don't want twins becuase it will upset the balance and the fuel consumption will upset my wallet!!!

If I was going for a 300 it would be a Merc 300xs - only 225kgs - a 2 stroke with the economy of a 4stroke.

As to the yam 350 I already have a good anchor. I am hoping to get a Verado 350 if they prove reliable - I will leave it to Bogib to find out first...........

Cougar have taken a few orders for ribs with verado 350's. When I spoke to them on Monday they have just recieved the paperwork for the first one. Looks good, but jolly expensive.

It didn't look too bad a price until the £ took a nosedive against the $ - it should recover soon but I am hoping to launch a business in the USA shortly so we will get paid in $.
