Codprawn in daring rescue!!!
Yes at last I have rescued someone in peril from the Sea - without a boat or even getting my feet wet!!!!

I am SUCH a hero!!!

Well to be honest I used a mobile phone!!!

Mate had just taken his brand new fishing boat out - weather got quite bad and the engine cut - started drifiting towards some rocks and was starting to panic.

He phoned me for any advice about getting the engine started(new yammy 60hp 4 stroke).

Turned out nobody realised that you had to open the bleed screw on the remote tank!!!

Still he had been on a course and is qualified!!!

Anyway very easy mistake to make - just shows I suppose that that is how most of us learn - from our mistakes - usually we get away with it!!!

Saved the RNLI a fortune - wonder if they will send me a cheque for saving them launching the lifeboat???
