i have just been to mayors car park and slip just off wick lane .

it is a realy nice place to launch and boat from so much so geuss were i am going on my next little trip

very well thanks, only the fuel gage seemes to be unextricably linked to the rev gage

we think pasteing her shes avregley doing about 2miles to the gallon but hey hum , i cant imagne myself with a 2.5 hp

is that the little slipway in the middle of christchurch, just over a little bridge, next to the car park with public toilets, next to the council offices? If so let me know what its like to launch there

i think you mean the one nr ribs marine , if so no its not , but this one is very easy , and a realy nice spot

Wick Lane slip is briil except for LW Spring.

Good cruising ground tho.

Wicklane Slip is excellent and I have even recovered their at low tide, although not advisable on clutch wear! Avoid Mudeford Quay slip way -its pants and almost a tenner excluding car parking.

use the slip then park in the car park round the corner half the price!!

you lads seem local to mudeford . ive got my buds speed boat at the moment been out on it a few times from the quay . had some fun untill i found the rocks next to the corner of the enterance ( dead prop) im looking for a safe way into the slipway do any of you know of the rocks ? which is the best way to miss them ??? a photo of there location would be greate . . if you can help please doo . .

Go parallel to the quay until the first fishing boat mooring then 90 degrees to starboard and you will clear the rocks.

Used to be a buoy to mark the outermost point, but no longer there.

Don't go any further than the first fishing boat - then track a line to the low water point of the slipway with your outboard as high as possible and you should not have a problem (+/- 2 hours low water).

Any further towards the moorings and you will find shallower water.

The rock is marked!! there is a isolated danger mark over it!!

just been down to mudeford to see my bud tryin to get his boat up the run at very low tide . . . . took him 45mins he could of got out and walked ,it was only 2ft deep and round by the first fishing boat i could clearly see the the rocks and the sand bank . . well worth going to have a look at the low tide . pluss the pub is open and the sun was low in the sky very nice place to let the stress of the day wind down . . . .
