Choosing an Antenna ?

Hello all, i'm looking for a bit of help regarding choosing a new antenna, the two i have in mind are the Glomex RA 112 and Shakespeare RV120, any suggestions or is there another one out there worth looking at (within the same price band), all comments are much appreciated.

Regards...........Shaun............

As a result of needing a folding bracket for a Vtronix raider and a sale meaning it was cheaper t obuy an entire whip to get the mount than to just buy the folding mount I have two. (Long term plan is to use one for AIS, but in the meantime it's a handy patchable spare)

I have a Glomex 1.2m No idea the model. It has happily survived 3 season's use with no sign of corrosion or failure. Admittedly it lives in a garage, so not maybe the best for long term external durability.

Only mod I've had to make is glueing the rubber end cap on.
