Cheap Valiant D380 - Too good to be True?

I'm looking for my first boat, something around 4m, I've seen a Valiant D380 with a 2 stroke 30hp engine for £1250, this seems very cheap, the down side it's so far away I'd have to get it delivered. Is this about the going rate for a boat of this size or should I be suspicious?

Depends on its age and condition. If its old and quite tired then that doesn't seem a ridiculous price. If it is in pristine condition or not that old then its either a good deal or a scam.

I'd suggest collecting it - unless there is a really good reason not to. If its too far to view before collection/payment then post some details here and you might find someone to check it exists for the cost of a few pints.

Hard to tell but he advert doesn't display the usual signs of scamming IMHO. Looks a nice deal!

THATS 99% a scam, Its my old boat i sold back in May this year for £2300. Its my pictures on my bloody drive and my description. I sold it to a chap in Devon so unless he has sold it to someone welll up the country, lost loads of money on it, found my old add and used my description and pictures i'm thinking its a scam.

I have emailed boats and outboards to look into it and double check the legitamacy of the add.
