Cheap seat for small boys

I posted some time ago trying to add a small extension behind my jockey console.

I found quite a good and very cheap solution...........

Go the the local camping shop and but a heavy duty camping step , it had mounting hole in the for corners and I managed to add a rib cushion onto it, with some stainless screws etc.

It is just the right height for my four year old, and hasent cost a fortune, I would not use it for off shore racing, but for our trips it has give me the extra seat and its just about the right height.

See the pictures, easy and very cheap, I can save up for a proper GRP one next year.

Fitted to my 4.5m rib.

Love it.

Well done, the cheap and simple ones are always the best.

how are you fixing to the deck?
do you have a handhold in front?
can he see where he is going?
