I found Porthcawl insurance one of the cheapest, my second year with them now.
They cover you for using water skiing and water toys as standard too.

Does lots of rib insurance

Might not always be the cheapest, but always pay out which is actually far more important than the premium

Just in the unfortunate position of processing a claim for hull damage on my baby ........ouch !!
The test of any insurance and broker is what happens when you make a claim.
So far ........ excellent Steve Knipe at Porthcawl Insurance is sorting everything out for me whilst I am away ..... and I only posted the completed claim form yesterday.
Highly recommended
Jeff

Jeff.
Good to see Porthcawl are easy to deal with when claiming.
I've not made a claim yet, (touch-wood!) but its always a worry in the back of my mind on how easy they will pay-up!

Si.

before taking any insurance ouy check how much they will pay out if you hit a submerged object, some only cover for £1500 ....a new gearbox/bottom end could cost up to £3000 fitted
