See if you can find something at http://www.memory-map.co.uk/maptech_marine.htm i have`nt been looking around but they have some free samples, maybe they will cover the area you are looking for.

On the subject of charts, anyone know which Admiralty leisure charts cover Aberystwyth and the rest of Cardigan bay? Can't seem to find them listed anywhere (maybe I didn't look hard enough). Also looked at the Imray Cardigan Bay chart, but that seems to be being reprinted currently. Any suggestions for decent charts for the Cardigan Bay area with decent info on the main harbours?

Cheers,
Matt

Errm, given the cost of a tenner or so for the appropriate chart isn't it worth investing in a chart of the Thames Estuary if you intend to go ribbing there?

Southend on Sea has absolutely no water outside of the main shipping channel at LT (it dries as far out as the end of the pier) and probably no more than a couple of metres at HT).

Narked,

I have got Imray C51-Cardigan Bay which shows the following harbours in detail:
Pwllheli
Aberdovey
Fishguard
Aberystwyth
Newpot
entrance to Milford Haven
Aberporth
New Quay Bay
Aberavon and
Cardigan

You sure its out of print?
Try

Official site says it's in the process of being reprinted, not sure exactly how up to date it is.

Didn't spend much time last night checking the various places that sell charts online, only checked the Admiralty and Imray websites really. Guess I'll go have a look now then!

Cheers

Brian is right, C51 shows all you need for the Bay area. £13.95 it cost me and I find Imray to be better quality than others, in durability at least. 1998 printed 2000 with 'Correction Notice' Feb 2002 so not sure if it's being reprinted.
