change MMSI number

Anyone know how to change an MMSI number on a Navman 7200? Can't see it in the manual!

Thanks.

It's not in your manual because NAVMAN like you to take your VHF set out and send it to an agent who will charge you something silly like £30 to reset it.

However, I'm in a good mood today (unlike Grumpy) so here's Claus' info again. I think of him as Santa Claus, 'cos he sure came bearing gifts

You will have to use 7200 as your PIN, not 7100

Turn radio off. Press and hold "scan" and "esc" while turning radio on. Enter pin: - 7 enter 1 enter 0 enter 0 enter. Follow menu to clear MMSI and/or ATIS. When done, turn off and on radio, and follow menu to enter MMSI again.

what's the phrase "give a man a fish and he will eat for 1 day, teach a man to fish and he will eat forever"... ...well assuming the faroese and bogi haven't eaten all the fish first!
