sorry!

i thought it said on that post that cat a, b, c or d waters are lakes rivers harbours etc which they are

however a boat desiged for rcd cat c is for up to force 4 / 2m rcd cat b is for force 8 / 4m etc

Thank you everyone. I can see where the confusion caomes in, I thought for a while I was going to be restricted to inland waters.

For interest, the only reason I wanted to know was that whilst at work this morning a gentlemen called asking what cat d water was, as his amphibious car is restricted to cat d waters.

I saw on the news last night, that an amphibious car was taken across to the Isles of Scilly, In fact it was the first car on one of the Islands for 80 years.
