Apparently this isnt the first incident like this with one of these car carriers.

The planned refloat today at midday has been cancelled.

Apparently a JCB had moved and punched a hole in the side of the vessel. hole repaired but water has got in.

I reckon it will take months, maybe they should call in that chap who salvaged the costa concordia to help.

No, you'd just be a little 'man in a boat' with a piece of string hanging out. Which would just about say it all.

No, I meant my post was an old comment. I posted it before the iPad refreshed the thread so it was already commented on

Seems the tide had different ideas.......... Anyone see it spin round?

Re the salvage 1200 Jag and landrovers...... not cheap neither is the plant..... why following a factory inspection (these are brand new un PDI'd motors) would they be crushed? Or resold with only a handful of badly damaged ones being scrapped all the VINS will be logged, only thos ewith access to the shipping manifests will know which ones were on the ship.... I wouldn't want to be the JLR assessor or logistics manager this week....

Outrageous disrespect to the great Solent wave jumper Mollers! As possible evidence you only need to look at the many photos of the Nacho Run - there is really only one boat "with angle"!!

To Hero Matt - looking forward to seeing (and trying) the new beast soon!

(Scuse late post due to slight time difference now visiting sis in Aus - back shortly)

Last I heard was only started to repump 3000 tons of water today after the recent storms, and had not been levelled, anyone know a new update?

She's still on her side. The weather has been causing them issues and damaged a tug which hit the boat yesterday.

They are planning to do something with ballast on Monday.
