Jake the dog

A pic. of our "little" boy. He handles the rib quite well. He is also othe mascot for our local abulance service. Seen here with his buddy Acu a Staf. Bull terrier.
Jake weighs in at 105 pounds.

Limey - your's looks like a real softie - glad to hear he's okay on the RIB - yet to sea trial our one - lol

250knts - Poodle - cool - now you've got me worried as our one is supposed to be a Retriever cross Poodle and is still only 5 months - hoping she does'nt get any bigger but her Dad was a Standard as yours is -

That'll be a golden doodle then! They can often get up to standard poodle size - what colour is she?

Ours is a plain old Labrador called Honey, and luckily she comes from working stock, so she won't get too big at all - doesn't mind going on boats at all, especially if it involves a little food bribery!

Cookee - she's lovely

Yes she is a Golden Doodle - just try to avoide the term as there seems to be so much bad press about "designer" dogs - she is lovely though very even tempered and wanting to please

She's white - well more dirty cream really - I picked her as her Mum was a very slight Retriever - in the hope that she would'nt be HUGE!!

Knot Yet Monster hopes to train her as a Gun Dog - mmmmm noT sure on that one - currently at puppy training classes with her and doing well on the whistle - her only current retrieve ability seems to be focused on finding "dead" rabbits that can be consumed before anyone notices - not sure how that will go down in the field - "yes Sir she did find the pheasant you shot so badly that was wounded, yes Sir she did bring it back... pardon Sir what was that ... where is it... well she ate it"!!!!

When she first arrived

Honey has a lifejacket - not so important to keep her afloat as she has a typical Labradors affinity to the water, but to pick her up with to get her back on board!

Excellent idea Cookee - once our little one has reached true size will also get her one - she's yet to go out to sea on the RIB

Thanks KY... they're good beasts. The tan guy is 13 now and a purebred Husky. The black fella is our new addition... courtesy of the pound. He's a Husky/Shepherd cross supposedly. Whatever he is, he has a great temperament, and loves the water.

RIBase
Those are great looking dogs lads - good RIB security too I'd think.

I bought mine from a Pikey when he was a wee pup, he was sold as a Jack Russell purebred but I think there's a bit of something else in there too. He looks more like the real thing since we had his tail docked.

He's quite wilful and is the very divil to keep off furniture. He hates water which is lucky, as I can't find a lifejacket small enough anyway.
