Can you help please? Evinrude E Tec 175bhp

Can you help please. What sort of money should I be paying for a full three year service (with new plugs) on a Etec 175bhp?

As an example, I paid £500 for a pair of 115s servicing in 2015.
It’s basically plugs, fuel filter, impeller, gearbox oil change. Shouldn’t take more than 3 hours + parts.
If it was more than £500 I’d want an explanation why.

Where would you be taking it? There is not that much choice on the South Coast - maybe Powertech in Hayling..?

Needle filter on fuel line to VST

On the etec make sure that the needle filter on the fuel line into the VST tank is changed. Small job but it could save injectors at a later stage. There may be more than one on an engine that size. The dealer may even say there are none in your engine, but they exist on all etecs.

Regards

South Coast Marine in Christchurch would be my first choice.
