If you live up here they don't. They get nice and warm so you can sit on them comfortably.

Most people have not experienced many RIBs as people dont change them every year like cars ... is some cases!!! I could only really commenr on 3 types of RIB and 4 engines over 15years ... so my opinions will be out of date in three of those boats.

Really nice idea ... but hard to work i think

I agree with Bilge Rats idea of an engine poll/ JD Power survey. I think that the decision to of which rib to buy generally comes down to what the owner himself wants, regardless of any poll results etc.

The rib poll would be too biased with everyone voting for boats they own or like, and bad comments being made about other ribs that some may hev no experience of, but just don't like them, etc, etc. (you get the idea)

However an engine poll would be good with different categories and you could even incorporate league tables:

After Sales
Power/ weight ratio
Oil use?

This type of poll wouldn't really rely so much on opinion but on figures, etc and I could see it working moreso than a RIB poll.

Sorry JK, feel free to attack me with red blobs!!!

Might be better to postpone this until the winter months so JK can get a few hours boating in!!
