Calshot Boat Jumble 2nd November

Anyone going to Calshot for the Boat Jumble on Sunday?

Myself and Middle Nasher will be there after some bargains for 'The Nashers Revenge', 'The Nippers Revenge', and the military Canoe(Should really come up with a name for it after 23yrs).

Have always found it to be a good one.

Nasher.

Depending on weather I miggth head over . I recall last year a heavy shower hitting just as I left ! Aslo need to see Lewis Hamilton snatch defeat from the jaws of victory this weekend.

Not sure what I want to buy but I'll try my best to find something ! Any suggestions ?

I think I will be car-less on Sunday, but if not I may well head over when I finish work, see if there's a raft of spares for a broken Pac22

Hi, do you know if there is berthing available nearby? We're hoping to take our new boat out for her christening and could maybe pop in for any forgotten bits.

Ta, maybe see some of you out on Sunday?

Yours
Ian

When I've been before there have been a couple of boats tied up to a jetty at the end of the spit, so it might be possible. Suggest you phone the organisers.
We did think about taking the boat ourselves but now have to divert somewhere on the way back in the car.

If you have a spare seat available, I'd love to tag along if that's possible? I can arrange free entry for you.

OK Nasher, just read your last post. Perhaps I'll make my own way then.

Sorry Andy, you'd have been welcome obviously, but we need to drop into Southampton for a couple of hours on the way back.

Perhaps meet up for a pie and a pint lunchtime.

Was disappointed with calshot today

Less than half the size of last time I went, and generally a bit cr*p.

Bumped into Hightower who I think agreed it wasn't very good.

Did however mange to have a good look around inside the activity centre.
Never seen so many climbing walls, or at the other end of the scale such a small indoor ski-slope. The Velodrome looks good, but far too energetic for me.
