Cannot comprare brig to solemar or zar...

Consoles are screwed in, not built in one piece...

Obviously it is also cheaper.

They all look very, erm, non british orientated. Unless you just launch twice a year on those spankingly hot days.

Used in britain they'd look grubby in about 20 secs. And those tables and pads would be taken to pieces if used in anger.

Horses for courses. They'd fit in at Sandbanks, Abersoch, some of the solent.

All these are in the same line as Brig.

Overhere we there are also yards who build ribs more bristish orientated, nevertheless overhere are used with other purposes (crossing the straight or offshore trips - drug smugglers)... Those are more easier to build.

There are also comercial builders of british type ribs in Spain and Portugal, but don't think that it is the kind of boat that he is looking for.

Usually they are made in PVC and not Hypalon. Those are also way cheaper.

For example Neuvisa HL 60
