buying seapro rib

im thinking of buying seapro rib 5.2 with 70hp evin as package ,as anyone got one or seen one and let me know if am getting a good buy for my money. visit www.seapro.com.uk

hi i have been looking for a rib myself had a look at seapro not sure, built in sa, i have been looking at a osprey eagle but does cost more i put a thread asking the same about osprey

thanks for answering my thread ive decieded to go ahead with purchase of seapro its seems okay and a good deal. im knew to the forum but am interested in doing some of the cruises ive only been using my rib for fishing and messing around on do you go on organized cruises or on your own Ive looked at the osprey it looks great but a bit over my budget unfortunatly

keep me imformed when you get it i would like to know how you get on with it ,dont do nothing yet grounded need to buy a rib just cant make my mind up which one also looked at a ribquest , the seapro with 70 was it a good deal steve

yeah, went down to look at boat look sound ,engine is 70 ex RNLI full package plus extras 7k website www.seaproboats.co.uk

see what u mean eagle about 9k with extras but no engine , 16k with engine

So how did you get on with you SeaPro. I know thread is dead, but finding out how you got on 2 years later would be good.

I have heard a lot of nasty stories about their so called "Ex RNLI" engines both here and on YBW forums.

I owned a 70hp Evinrude on my cuddy cabin boat and it is a PAIN in the Back side. Never EVER again try those two stroke evinrudes...NEVER.

The ribs are imported, I searched Alibaba websites and there are plenty of manufacturers especially in China who build these ribs. There is even one for sale on Ebay.
