Knot Yet... You may remember I posted on the first thread where you mentioned buying the Avon Typhoon as something very similar was in our mind to upgrade from our 3.2m Zodiac over the winter.

Just wondered why you felt the Avon needed upgrading after a matter of days?

Hi David

Good to hear from you and yep I do remember the thread

We are not upgrading - the Avon Typhoon is a totally cracking SIB and there is no way I want to see her go to a new home yet.

However what she did do is make me realise how much I love the feel and fun of SIB's/RIBs, so being not the most patient of girlies I decided I had to have a RIB as well much to hubbys annoyance.

The cunning plan is that we will pack the SIB up for taking to Pembrokeshire and use the RIB here in the South East.

I can't recommend the Typhoon highly enough and worth while hanging out for one - they are fun, fast and yet feel safe and reassuring - I'm really chuffed we have one

Hope that helps a bit

J

Ahh that's good... I'll keep a Typhoon on the shortlist.

A good plan. SIBs are great for exploring the upper reaches of the Milford Haven Waterway, or playing inshore around Tenby & Saundersfoot.

You'll wish you brought your Searider along though, to cruise around the islands.

We keep our caravan down in Dale - so plan to launch at Dale slip and potter around in Dale Roads and Milford Waterway - little bit of fishing, beach BBQ's and fun.

Would love to take the RIB but with it already taking approx 6 hours by car the thought of an even longer journey currently dampens the spirit of Ribbing once there - maybe I'll change that view after we've been out in the Searider a few times!!!

Hello Tornado Ribs and welcome to the forum.

Its good to see you represented here. Can I strongly suggest you take a read at the commercial posting guidelines and consider signing up as a trade member (which will allow you to make posts promoting your products). If you decide not to sign up as a trade member your contribution will still be valued (and e.g. you'll be able to respond to enquiries from tornado owners).
