Building SR4 Jockey Console?

I am looking to convert my sr4 from bucket seats to a jockey console. There is not much available in the states, so I plan to build it myself. If anyone has any pictures of their setup and dimensions of their jockey console that would be great. I was only able to find one build in the past like this, but it was for a 5.4m and did not have any dimensions. The plan is to build it out of ¼ inch plywood sandwiched between fiberglass and long enough for one or two people. Thank you for your help.

Have a look at this.

That'll get you started and will give you some good Ideas to include mounting a fuel tank etc.

Thank you very much for the links, they have given me some great ideas. If anyone still has any dimensions for the height, length, width of the seat, and height of steering wheel I would appreciate that. I have never sat in a jockey type seat and have no idea what is the most comfortable.

The one in mine was from here (dimensions are on the site in millimetres) and it's pretty much bang on the right size for an sr4.

I would get a pile of books to sit on and measure them when you feel you've got the right seat hight. Get a steering wheel and hold it in front of you at a comfortable position (make engine noises if you like) and that will give you the position of the steering. Most jockey seats are 12" wide and the console part can be wider, just remember that you have to put your feet somewhere and you don't want bruised knees either.
