that is correct and these are yet to be fitted. Along both sides of the engine bay you can see a shelf which will accommodate a hose to feed any deck water through the engine box to the elephant trunks.

Sorry for some delays in my responses but I have only just got back from a great vacation in the Seychelles where access to the internet was not always available
+30 degrees C and not a rib in sight

Hopefully the engines will be installed next week and early April I will dash off to Poland to clock on a few engines hours prior to shipping the rib to the UK.

As I am not in a rush I have agreed to delay the completion of the demo rib in favour of other production work. This could mean a delay of say up to 3 weeks.

well two months have passed since the completion was put on hold. A bit longer than I had first estimated. Anyway I was in no rush then but I am now

the rib was moved from the factory to our subsidiary Parker Poland where the engines are being installed by our service guys. Work started on Friday and as you can see from the attached photos they are checking the engine mounts and attaching the insulation material in the engine box. I am told they will finish the installation this week so tests on the water next week and then shipment to the UK. As much as I would love to drive her here by sea I just do not have the time to do this.

I will post more photos when I get them

well it has been quite a wait. The rib has been completed and is ready to go. The truck leaves tomorrow morning so she should be at SDS Thursday afternoon.
Sunday lunch in Yarmouth. I will take detailed photos later. The rib will be at Seawork berth VB03 . Seawork is 13-15 June Mayflower Park Southampton

Does the "platform" at the back just to protect the drive legs, or can it be used as a bathing platform etc?

Are you putting liferings on the "shelf" under the radome?
Do you normally mount the VHF and radome so close without interference issues?

Poly, the platforms are standard with twin or single diesel stern drive / jet drive. some even with a retractable ladder so it can be used as swim platform

The shelf under the scanner is standard on our A frames and for smaller A frames there is a shelf only for one lifering. I am not so sure if I will put any there.

as for the VHF antenna I was asked that by the factory but had the same on my last rib so it should not be an issue but time will tell

Unlikely to be an issue:

12 July 2017

Yesterday was my third time out and I took the rib from Southampton Dry Stack at 6 knots to Southampton Waters then at 25/28 knots to Portsmouth then to Cowes and back to Portsmouth and back to Southampton Dry stack. All in all a good day on the water and the trip data of the SIMRAD MFD gives a good record of the day. The rib is a bit heavy on the stern and I am considering send her back to the factory in September to remove the 2 x 220 fuel tanks which are just in front of the engines and install 2 x 120 ltr which would go under the console., This will move the COG forward and improve the handling.
