BS members quized by anti terrorist police had a run down the Humber today with Pikey Dave in rough conditions and when we recovered our boats the police were waiting for us But it turned out they wanted to know if we had seen any stray Gernans on our travels.

Maybe they thought you were the PSNI over on manoeuvres as they have a small fleet of Redbay 6.5m also powered by twin Honda 90's

Sounds as if you had a great day

Ah! Errmm Some numpty, forgot to take his gopro for its first outing Which was a shame because there were a couple of serious stuffings in the very confused water under the Humber Bridge (Very spectacular, especially from just underneath) & the recovery was errr, interesting. Wifes new iphone gets delivered tonight

The slip at the bridge can be quite lively at times, especially with a SW breeze and a flooding tide! Unfortunately, there aren't that many publicly accessible slips on the Humber.
A word of warning though - you'd be best NOT to park on the hardstanding in front of Humber Rescue, they tend to get a little touchy about it. It's best to use the small carpark on the other side of the trees, if it's free.
