Weather forecast for Reykjavik and Faxaflói on Saturday is fantastic, no wind clear skyes well could be as cold as -7 degrees........
We will take at least three boats out and will try get some more boaters out for a spin..... unfortunately Cheesee is out of play as the fuel tank is under repair

I took the lead on Belle 530 with Mercury 115 four stroke "Ice breaker" breaking the way out of our marina through thin ice then we headed to Reykjavik old port for hamburger at Hamborgarabúllan at the Hamburger joint...

The other Bella 530 was powered by Mercury 135 Optimax and she was quick on plane and somewhat more toy than the one I drove

Greetings RIBbaldi!
Hot d*mn, Team Island gets the weather again. We're hoping for a "micro-calm" here tomorrow and a quick rib trip. Still, no ice, so that's a bonus. Can anyone tell me the current price of (truck) diesel in ISK? We're working out a budget for our visit. .

Red diesel costs about 77 pence a liter, I doubt your truck will qualify for that and penalty is high and also not widely available regular diesel around 1,15 pound a liter

Budget
Hi Willk
I think yor trip to Iceland will be cheaper every day, the Icelandic currency "Króna" is falling rapitly. 10 days ago the Euro cost aboat 98 krona, today it cost 112 krona. So you will get more krona for your money. That's a bonus.
Feel free to ask any questions about Iceland.
Sveinki
