Boating can be cheap

When I was out in my new to me Rib the other day I was aware that I needed a toilet on board. Today I was putting antifreeze in my Sports Cruiser and I was suddenly aware that the antifreeze comes with a free toilet. All you need is a little ingenuity. Here it is

May I suggest running a flame round that edge to prevent painful lacerations?

whats wrong with hanging your arse over the transom and doing it freestyle I couldn't think of anything worse than having a tub on board that somebody has shat in thats the whole point of having an a frame on the boat ps remember and turn your go pro of if you do

Clearly you people have bowel issues. I can understand a sudden dose of the scoots, but this profligate dumping while afloat has me puzzled

The willkcraft has a portapotty that hasn't been baptised. I have anticipated an emergency and the boat has a bucket, a few biodegradable "plastic" liners and a handful of stones....

Is that not overkill having both......or is the Portapoti just for visiting dignitaries.

In 30 years of boating, I can count the times we've been "caught short " on one hand. When we have, it's been the transom manoeuvre. I work on the assumption that if it's so desperate, the transom will suffice, if not, it can wait. We do keep a bog roll in the dry bag on the boat, that bog roll has seen me through 4 boats[emoji6]& still going strong [emoji106]

I did something very similar for the same reason.
I used the other end of the bottle. Cut off the bottom instead.
Now it's a bathroom if needed and if washed out properly it
doubles as a funnel and as my bailing bucket.
i haven't had to use it as a crapper yet.
