They can put a long shaft transom on a 585, but I wouldn’t. My 585 was LS & could be a tad damp at the rear when heavily laden with divers. Personally I wouldn’t compromise the boat for the sake of fitting an existing engine.

Thankyou ,this is where my thoughts went after speaking to JP ,especially as the existing engine was a short term solution until i could afford new xl
