Boat on the rocks Milford Haven

I was asked to attend the refloating of a 18' HB the other day which had broke its mooring overnight at Milford, the owner wasn't sure of outboard or hull condition after his boat had drifted 4 mile up river and settled on some rocks, turned out he was very lucky and there was no serious damage, and a tow wasn't necessary, A loose shackle is suspected for the break away, which proves the galvi wire fixing method is a good idea.

Prefer small cable ties as easier to remove

Travelled the stretch many times. At 2.45 in on video I have always wondered what is the large wooden stage on the right just before Milford? Were the donuts at the end Gelliswick bay?

That would be Wards pier just before Milford, Its a shame its been left to ruin over the years, I think it was linked to heavy industry based around the Black bridge pill area, there was talk of another marina and tidying around the old mining depot.
Yes the dounuts where at Galli, I was waiting for my mate to get the trailer, there was no one others in the bay so thought give it a go, I've seen others do it in much tighter circle, but couldn't manage that, maybe I needed to trim in more?
