Calling our new 6.5m 'Farfetched'. She succeeds a SIB called 'Improbable'. Farfetched is also a play on the technical term 'fetch' being the distance between waves - the greater the fetch, the longer the distance the wave has had to run (I think )

Correct Bruce 10 points and some more info regarding a fetch the longest fetch in the world is in the Pacific Ocean(as biggest Ocean) and it also has the highest waves on occasion sometimes as high as 50 ft and highest recorded ever 112 feet

now ribbing the pacific - that is an idea. But it is a long drive in a Peugeot with a rib behind to get there

Most memorable name I have seen was on a large sailing boat in Grand Cayman about 12 years ago. The guy who had her had given up his life of wealth in New York and sailed the world on his boat, wife never wanted a boat he always did, guess he got his way in the end. Boat was called FUJIMO, (F*$k You Jane I'm Moving Out).

Hi,

Can you post some pictures on the Other Stuff forum? There are a few experienced photographers on this site who should be able give you some advice.

Regards.

I saw a moderately impressive gin palace on Grand Cayman which made me giggle - 'Mama's Money'
