Boat Names

Found this on another forum. Its a huge list of boat names and includes some quite famous ribs like Never Enough and Delta Dawn.

http://www.boatus.com/names/Tnames.asp

Some quite amusing ones too.

The Best name I have seen on a Powerboat was a chunky Ski boat type thing with a couple of big lumps on the back. It had a real snazzy paint job and was called " Goody Two Screws"

Also In our marina is a Carver Gin palace called Alcatraz. can you guess what the Tender is called?

Scubakid and I met a Ribeye RIB at Camber Dock (Portsmouth) - we went over to Cowes together, but were a little hesitent to call them on the radio with a name of......

We have a guy here on the Shannon who's pride and Joy is called "Luv Me" and the dinghy is of course...??????????????

( Our Round Ireland and Shannon Sprint Powerboat Record Team was Known as Team Custume Cats... Long Story) !

All of our School boats are named after Cats..... Ally Cat, Bob Cat, Classy Cat, Demo Cat and Tom Cat. Suggestions for our new RIBs arriving in January are welcome !

One of my own Sports Boats is called Elite and the tender Elite Petite !

Best wishes,

Stuart

Excellent!!! I've seen that "Elvis" theme around quite a bit (I won't say any more in case anyone's still scratching their head!)

Like your "Elite Petite" - great name.
