Boat name lettering

I'm looking to put my boats name on the tubes.

I've tried the usual sites like funky monkey etc but none of them seem to do it the way I'm after.

I want the boats name cut out of a black vinyl background so the name lettering is the tube material.

Did I explain that right? I think Tornado do something similar.

are you sure you want vinyl as in what vehicle signwriting is done in? personally ive never stuck it onto tubes so have no idea how long it lasts on them - id like to hear if anyone has done this. the best option is having your design laser cut out of hypalon and sticking that to the tubes for a permanent job. as for what youre after, then yes i think i know what you mean

I presumed most of the boat names were a thick vinyl, the reason I thought this is most of the websites I've looked at state that their graphics are vinyl.

when stickers etc are made out of vinyl, its only a very thin plastic material - similar i guess to electrical insulation tape. its not thick vinyl like what seats may be upholstered in

I use banner vinyl for tubes, it's very flexible and I've not had any come back so I guess it stays on pretty well.

Is the name for the Northcraft?, if so then laser cut hypalon would be an option which would last the life of the tubes.
I produced names for Festinghouse and Kerny who both posted pictures on here in recent threads.
Although I fitted those I could supply the cut materials for you to fit yourself.

Vinyl works surprisingly well if you leave it for a while to get a good grip before using it.

We have used it for big banner stickers and for text down the side.
