If it had been him we would have done the old trick of reversing up, lifting the prop so its just below the water, rammed the throttle forward and soaked the bar steward!!!

i have a bouyant trailer but i just wrap some chain around when needed, what was he going to tie it off to. ,,,,,,,,,, ,,,,,,no french but wifes Dutch sorry Hollander that any good.

I still haven't worked out why the trailer need putting in at low water. If the entire trailer had to go in then a length of rope would have stopped the car from getting wet and as Mart said chain would have stopped it floating.

You should have took the wheels off just in case it "rolled" away.
