I'd love to do the chbg run, but it's too much for us to do in a weekend, coming from the frozen north. We can't get away until Friday night, & have to be back on Sunday pm. The missus is tied by work.

"This S3 concept increases the stability, passenger comfort and safety of high speed, heavily loaded craft, without the weight and drag (both aero and hydro) common in R.I.B.ís. The energy absorbing lightweight S3 system provides shock mitigating characteristics to the hull. The variable geometry of the sponsons increases hull efficiency and aft buoyancy where the fuel, engine and passenger loads are centered. The S3 allows the craft to stay on plane at lower speeds in rough water than conventional hulls. Air filled tubes are lighter weight and absorb more energy than foam tubes."
I guess add any tube to any boat and you can call it a rib these days. funny world.
