Big RIB in Putney

Was walking along the river at Putney today and saw a huge rib, well it looked huge to me. Just hapened to have my camera with me as well. Tubes are partially deflated for transport and it has twin 250's on the back.

nice rib , i also saw a monster of a rib down calshot *, funny way to look at it actually , there were 4 men helping recover a small 4 meter rib and 1 man recovering the monsterous 8-9 meter rib!! Cleverly done though , just shows how practise makes perfect !!

*unfortunetly didnt have a camera spare and was busy washing our rib

It wasn't being pulled by one of Chas Newen's vehicles and it was parked further down than Chas's, almost opposite kings college boathouse.

Can tell you the story about that rib. Correct guess it was Chas Newens.
Get this.. it was one of three, I say again THREE Ribs, that one, a Medline III, a Pro 12, and a Pro Open that were being containerised for the same guy who has a large Gin palace in the Greek Isles.
They were there when I picked my boat up from Chas Newens.
I tried to swop my Pro 16 for the Medline III but they noticed!!!!!

regularly launched by the new owner at Putney, often see them on the Thames in the Summer...extremely fast boat.

Owner tells me the most difficult thing is towing the huge rig through London to the launch site.

Just had a look on the hi-res original and it says
bwa 9000
next to the bwa is a symbol of a horse leaping up in fron of a sun

also i can just make out either SSR94417 or SSR84417 hard to tell from the angle of the pic

How much would it cost to run this rib petrol wise?

Strikes me it is like Rollers; if you have to ask how much, you can't afford it
