They never had a wave machine - they just ducted it from the Burry Estuary!!!

And don't start me off about the leisure centre - any wonder our council tax is so high???

Codders, have you seen anyone else try floor polish on a rib with any success? Not having a dig, just curious that's all - when a junior scrote under training in the military we tried Klear to get parade shoes up to scratch and its fine when static, but as soon as you flex the area its applied on, it cracks big time..

This is what I've said a couple of times. I was a sad git that had to highly bull his boots every 24 hours for 14 years so I thought I knew what I was talking about. Glad to have someone agree with me. I just don't see how it can stay on a RIB.

I put StoneGlo (floor polish) on my rather tired tubes a few weeks back. Very happy with the result and no problems so far.

As to comparing tubes with boots, that’s just daft. Yes, tubes flex but not like boots. Also, I bet you put the Kleer onto already polished boots.
When applying to the tubes they partly absorbed the polish giving a good finish that is showing no signs of cracking anywhere.

I've used it, and it worked very well. It wasn't Klear though, so maybe that's one to avoid.

Stoneglo is a terrazzo floor polish, similar to the type that I used. It worked for me, and seems to be doing OK for v666 too.

Klear seems to be something rather different.

How is that comparison daft? Anything that starts off as a liquid and hardens to a solid like Klear is going to suffer if repeatedly flexed - tubes flex, shoes flex, what's the problem?

Shoes flex to about 45 degrees leaving crease lines, tubes do not.

the toe caps of navy boots dont flex 45 degrees unless you've got something seriously wrong with your feet.
