Brixham steep but easy launch, need to take care with bigger boats on low tide as you can go off edge of slip (don't ask how I know!!) but no pontoon unless you take boat round to visitors pontoon, to do that can take 10 - 15 minutes so difficult if single handed

Salcombe is excellent with a pontoon at end of the slip and plenty of parking.
Exmouth main slip is closed so their most popular slip is Shelly beach but really no good on springs as trailer has to be left on beach an you won't get down the slip without getting wet.
Appledore N Devon is also excellent with great slip, pontoon, plenty of parking an only a short hop to lundy island!
Lastly Queen Anne's Battery, Plymouth. Another great launch site.
Hope this helps!!

Polly steps has a couple of ladders down to the water, about 20 meters downstream of the slipway, I single hand launch from there, but if springs, on anything other than near high or low, it is very difficult with a strong rip across the slipway. There is the beach the other side of the port for when the tide is strong, but is sandy and will probably suit a 4x4,

Can't comment on the others, but the main reason I use Polly steps is the price, ie cheap! The car park at Polly steps is attended from 08:00 is to about 16:00, and if you arrive before that and get back after that no one seems to bother, however a season permit is available.

I see they have installed what looks like a pay and display machine, so this info might change soon
