Best rough seas RIB???

Ok....opinions-The RIB that handles best in rough seas (most seaworthy etc) in other words if you were out in a storm, which sub 9m RIB would you most like to be in?

Why mine of course.. It's not sub 9 but its all I have. I think most people will answer the same way about their own.. If you don't have that confidence then why would you own it in the first place?

No I haven't been about in an age..... I am in the process of looking at boats at the mo.....I love big chop so i want something thats solid in big waves but not too expensive? I guess its what everyone wants

yes I was kind of joking about the Ribeye, it's fine in heavy seas but there are certainly better our there.

Those Humbers moored next to you look very capable...seems a bit of a waste on the Thames.

Depends on the rigout. most hulls are good at todays standard of build, some have their advantages though. I run an osprey derived hull which is the best I've had , over 2 others..... Dry ride, fast, & splits the waves, but it depends what you want TBH. What are your running conditions?Loaded?Passengers etc?

TBH I've been quite happy in an F7 with a 5.5 as much as my latest 8.5. If the kit is right and you have confidence in your gear as you should have, size does not matter

Well most of the time i would be running with me and just one other passenger..... I just like to push things a bit so would want a RIB that was comfortable getting pushed a little.... Obviously not too far

Why would you choose to go out in a storm

I suggest that you think of something affordable and easy to tow / launch. You won't go far wrong with something like a second hand 5.5m with 75 hp and it won't get you into trouble with to much power.

When did i ever say i was going to do it? The reason I asked is because I want a RIB thats extremely safe.... What i was trying to ask is-What RIB would u be most comfortable in if you were caught in rough conditions....

I also have no intent to insult....
but there is no need to be so offensive, especially to a 'kid'

That's a bit harsh - keyword 'if you were out in a storm...' Anyone not been caught out in worsening conditions?
