Best rib in 7,5 m class?

Solent 750, Rib-x XT 750, Revenger 715/760 (most expensive), XS-Rib XS 750.

Did I miss any Rib in this style/size? I want to go fast as in the archipelago of stockholm.
I don´t wont a heavy rescue boat. Made in UK

I will use V-max or E-tec engine, depense on the boat but from 135-250 hp, or maybe Yamaha or Suzuki (4-stroke).

Phantom Evo, Pascoe SR 7, BananaShark, Ribcraft 750 Sport, Scorpion, K4Plus

I'd probably chose any of these over the ones that you've listed!

No idea, but none of them are bargain basement boats. You didn't say that price was your main consideration, you said you wanted the best.

What's your budget?

We have a boat from a friend this summer so I planning to buy after Ribex 2007!

Budget! around 25´(+/- depense on my company)

Scorpion is my top 1. But they start at 36´(no engine). Pascoe and Bananaboat is not my style and to heavy, even if the boats are very nice.

K4+, Ribcraft 750 sport ? I will check them...

Osprey, are they building them in poland?

I also have the Ribunlimited 700/702 from sweden www.rib.nu with a hydrolift hull. Around 15000£ + rigging and engine.

i very much doubt you will be able to get a main brand of 7.5m boat which is considered at the high end for anything near what you have mentioned....ie 25k, and i am talking £££££ not euro, if you go second hand then the doors open up considerably

as far as I know Osprey are not building ribs in Poland

and since we are on the subject of a 750 RIB then what about our Parker 750RS which was subject of a boat test in one of the recent issues of the Rib International magazine and will be reviewed in the next Sportsboat & RIB Magazine

In Sweden the Parker 750RS is known as the C-RIB 25

Have a look at www.atlantisribs.com I think these are the K4 Plus hulls that JK refers to.

Also visit www.boatsandoutboards.co.uk and search for Atlantis in the RIB section. The prices look pretty good to me. I don’t know what the quality is like, and this is not an established brand at the moment, but you may be able to get a new one for the price of a second hand Scorpion 7.5m .

Cheers

Ian

Ok, budget 25 000£ not Euro. + vat.

Atlantis looks nice, even parker 750. Thanks. I will check them up.
The new Ribcraft 750 looks Very nice to, one of the best so far. The Atlantis is new for me, anyone have one here?

Ribcraft 750 sport
Solent 750
Atlantis RS/Sport
Revenger 715/760
Breeze=700 or 750 the V-Type hull. Seawolf tried to build them but

Petrov. Can you tell us the story of Osprey? in a new thread, i don´t understund anything at all.

Just found this thread, so sorry for replying twice! I appreciate the "not my style" comment - obviously a boat has to match what you are looking for in style, but not sure about your comment about the weight? Our latest demonstrator has a Verado 250 on it and weighs 1060 kgs with 100 litres of fuel on board - what you would like it to weigh? By the way we have seen 65 MPH on the GPS as well!

Sorry Cookee! Weight... was complete wrong! I didn´t check that up. About not my style, that is mostly because my budget will hold me with cheaper style rib boats. Open style . I like the bananastyle and I always read everything with your boat. I´m sorry.

Both Pascoe and Banana will have my attention when I have money for it.

No problem - just for your future purchase decisions, we start at £28,550 + VAT without engine!
