Don't care for a second. You settle your Opti washing Persil situations and I'll cut to the chase re. what a decent RIB is.
Ninety two metres and twelve helicopter engines don't do it!

Interesting shaky vid of some pootling on a lake but did I miss any GPS display of the speed etc?? Looked more like 25kts?!

I reckon if you had to keep one for life, you couldn't go far wrong with an SR5.4 and a 90hp.

I love my SR4 with a Yam 40 2s; easy to launch, feels like it's doing 50 knots flat out when it is actually doing around 30 knots , very good on fuel. Only downside is the jockey seat is cramped for two. Maybe a SR4.7 is the holy grail of ribs (never driven one but would love to).

So right..I have a couple of boats, bigger and smaller but my SR 5.4 is the only one that won't even consider to sell. It's surprisingly good in the rough an together with the yam, fuel economy is not bad.

I like the work boat/military appearance of the navy version, think fellow boaters believe its a small coastguard boat on distance....and no need to spend time on polishing it.

Given the right offer I'd sell mine, don't really get time to use it, motorbike would be money better spent....

SR 5.4 90 2t mariner, 35kts WOT, just serviced....
I think it's 1995 and 2004 engine....

Rib for life.... Something that is fun, does not consume half the planets oil reserves when out for a spin. Can manage a longer trip when needed, but also small enough to get into beaches etc.

Only one option, Osprey Eagle with a 90 or 115 e-tec on the back.

Our 5.4 with 90 opti was great..... But, rear transom too low and bow too low too. Wet over the back and front.

Delta dash 5.5 with 125 opti. (Same block more power) Now that's a set up with high sheer bow but pretty rare.
