Just a footnote:

Bear advertised his old Madera on here - 10.5m twin 300hp. He reckoned it did 40knots "flat out". Must be heavy!

Apparently the only boat that was up to the job....

I guess the Ribquest did not quite hit the spot then


40 knots out of that hull with 600HP sounds about right its a beast !

Interesting boats, rigid structures! It seems that Bear Grylls is everywhere!

But I think that apart from military use, only a real adventurer would by one of that boats! Would be perfect for that use though!
