Banish the green stuff!

Having recently purchased a used 6.25M Ocean Iíve Now collected it from its wet mooring. The hull is reasonably clean as it was antifouled, however the underneath of the last couple of feet of each tube is coated in the usual green stuff.

Has anyone found a good product or method to remove this from Hypalon without scuffing the material or spending days with a nailbrush?

Thanks

Nasher.

Polymarine has a RIB cleaner that you spray on the tubes, let it be for a minute and than clean it of, it should be ok, i never tested it my self but friends of mine recomended it.

polymarine

I have used this cleaner before in 2000 on a new rib with blue tubes, did what it said on the back and it dyed the tubes. NEVER AGAIN.

Asked my friend and regarding to him it was a new cleaner from 2002 or 2003, his tubes is blue and he is really happy with the result.
That`s probably why they have a new one

I have the 2 feet of green on the tubes and the cleaners will only remove the worst, the green stain remains. I figure when it is back on the pontoon I won't be able to see it!
