Bangor Ribraid / Rib Hire in Northern Ireland.

Ok, Having heard Alan P's hardsell of this years Ribraid at Cowes, Laura and I are planning to go. Have emailled Gina (I think it is) for details and to hopefully get a couple of spaces on a boat.

Though its always its nicer to have your own RIB for an event so its a long shot but does anyone know of any Rib charter (bareboat) operations in Northern Ireland?

And is anyone else going? I guess Aging Yoof will be there with Jolly Sailor heading of to Newfoundland but anyone else? Tim G?

Cheers,
Alan

I hadn't forgotten

Yes I should be there. Just back from St.Kilda so I'm not up to date with what is going on. Does Gail have a website up and running, or are there details anywhere else? I believe that it is on at the end of the month but no one over here seems to know very much!

Cheers

Allen

Boats from IoM

Can little boats come too - I am keen to go, but would prefer to be in company as mine is only 5.2m and 70hp.

Is there a group going from the IoM?

Gail, Take note of the Alan's opening thread " After Alans HARD sell of this years RIBRAID" Just in case you dont think I do anything in my spare time! And Whitingiom, just in case Gail is still hung over somewhere and does not read this, small boats are more than welcome. PM Allen Corlett AKA hairdresser to se when they are coming over. I know Don is already up in Scotland and will be coming down rather than up this year

ribraid Northern Ireland.

Hi everyone.

There is little information on this forum, so here is a lot more.

Friday 30th. Register from 4pm at the marine court hotel, opposite the marina.
light refreshments and welcome from 7-30pm. Entertainment afterwards.

Sat 31st. more registrations in the morning. Ribs to Carrickfergus for BBQ and entertaiment in the afternoon and early evening.

Sun. 1st. Final registrations and briefing from 10am. 12 mid-day ribs to Donaghadee and on to Portpatrick, arrive PP 1-30pm ish. Met by PP lifeboat and pipers. BBQ at the Waterfront Hotel and entertainment. 5pm. leave for Donaghadees Pier 36 Pub and Restaurant for food and drink. Farewells 8.30 ish. All this for £25 per person, which also includes a substancial goodie bag and tee shirt. A weeked not to be missed. All details on the Website.

message to Alan Priddy. You are giving the impression that Gail is always under the influence of drink. You know that is very wrong. She does enjoy a good party though and is very generous. She is working her 'but' off for this event. She has worked very hard to promote 'Alan Priddy' in NI and you should be praising her, not knocking her.
