BananaShark on front cover!

Well our first review (Rib International) went at least as well as we could have hoped - Robert Avis is a well respected journalist, and he came out in the boat after Cowes on Bank Holiday Monday and his main complaint was that it took the wake of the camera boat (thanks again Gordon) too well!

We are doing demos throughout the winter by the way, and the demonstrator will be for sale in the not too distant future - get your wallets out boys and girls!

It is a great review of the boat, still we were very disapointed not to see her last Saturday, but fully understandable after seeing the conditions in Falmouth Bay

Was that the conditions that the Cornish Ribsters had such a good time in?

If you need me to explain the difference between playing in the mouth of a bay with other boats for company and a lone passage of 60 miles in the same conditions, then you need to get out more.

Kitten,
Twas a joke! we all discussed winding you up after the Falmouth trip, Bob & I decided against coming down from Par so we guessed there was no way you'd be coming from 60 odd miles away.
(PS Mollers started it we all said it was a bad idea )

Hey! How did I get dragged into it?!! I do remember some conversation about Bananas and Salcombe lightweights. Can't recall the details though.

Wow I'm glad I never posted my wind up about having put my deposit back in the bank after the seaworthiness demonstration of not showing up !!!

Minor sense of humour failure there kitten

In reality - we were all very sad when we saw the conditions as we expected you wouldn't come down (I don't think anyone else would have either - well except me - but i'm raving mad) and I think we were all really looking forward to seeing the boat in the flesh.

Sadness didn't last long though as we had a blast with a short but very exciting trip from Falmouth to the Helford river.

It was a great review and its an awesome and very unique looking boat. I'm sure we will get a chance to see one in the summer (if not before).

How many of these things are actually out on the water - or is this demonstrator the first one ?

kitten is indeed a very good humoured person who has a wealth of knowledge about boats and has a lot of experience on seas most of us may never see.

Brilliant design ideas also.

OK I bit, so I'm a pollock.
Roy at the moment she's abit like highlander there is only one. As soon as we have finished the builds we are commited to work can start modifying moulds to sort out a few minor build problems, refine the finish and fitout then there will be more.
