dont know if i am being blind but are you not running with trim tabs??

The steering rams interfere with the tabs we have so we're trying it without first - or a bow tank - we may add either or both at a later stage.

Cookee, a bit of flocking would look good on the interior.

It's been used on rally car dashes for a while now. A lad I know is providing a flocking service.

Mollers - Helpful as always!

Zippy - if you look there are four rams - two for steering and two for trimming the drives! Always room for more sponsorship! The fourth seat will be avaialable to anyone who can bring in some money to pay for entry fees and fuel costs - fuel will be cheap @ only 104lph flat out for both motors!

Black - You're welcome during opening hours at the workshop in Churchstow (9.30 to 5.30) (07836 268747) and unless we have a lot more unforeseen issues we will definitely be out before the end of next week - big wedding to go to on Saturday at Cliff House first though!

I dropped a whole packet of greens down beside the port motor, and they haven't been seen since.

As for a lashup comment, I think it went quiet on here as it is frighteningly close to the truth.

The finish on the inside is secret, it gives a good hard wearing nonslip finish and is easily removed with acetone for any repairs or alterations.

Black, if you are waiting by the slip next week to see the first launch, you will be too late.

Eh?!!

If that's your idea of a lash-up, pull a few panels off of some mass produced cruisers.

That 34 is an awesome bit of kit.

Lack of sense of humour is here - to many long days recently (not as many as Kitten though!)

It is tight in there but it's only a 7'4" beam in the boat!

Steering works now so keep a good look out everybody!

Some good news! We got the boat launched on Friday and although we had a small problem with one of the drives we were happy with the results we have. The boat sits high in the water despite two diesels in the back, it's stable and easy to manoeuvre with the Arnesons.

We did get it onto the plane before the problem but not flat out, so we still don't know the top speed or whether they are the right props for now -
