I think the photos show the plug being assembled - not the actual boat!!! No need to waste money on marine grade ply for a plug, I would imagine (but stand to be corrected if I'm wrong).

sure but using mdf for a plug knowing how mdf attracts water and swells up

fantastic project Cookee.

can't you wack up some live web cam so we can all sit our desks offering lots of useful advice and necessary alterations? It'll be the first boat built by a committee of 100's.

its not mdf board ,i saw it today its a balsa wood model 5ft long and clever use of trick photograpy to confuse you all
