I've an all black Rib (hull/tubes) with OP valves. There is a little pressure drop on the tubes on very cold mornings following a warm day, but just a little. The tubes do get a little bit warm on the very rare occasion we have a hot day up here during the searing heat of a Scottish summer but I've normally got the drysuit on so don't burn my ass. A quick splash of water cools the tube down. Have the same issue with the black covering on the jockey seats. I'll probably glue on some tube top patches in a lighter colour this year (possibly grey or orange) for those that sit on the tubes wearing shorts.
Drying water does leave a salt residue on the tubes as it will do with any colour, you just notice it on a black tube. Quick rinse with the hose cleans it up nicely.

Kinda wet/drysuit territory :d
