B&B at the RNLI in Poole

I see in my RNLI magazine thingy that you can get Bed and Breakfast at the RNLI headquarters in Poole harbour (if you are a member of the RNLI that is) but only at weekends.

Has anyone ever stayed there? Is it nice?

Seems like a nice idea to motor down to Poole, berth at the town quay and stay at the RNLI building. Looks like it has lovely views.

Yep have stayed there 3-4 times, very highly recomended, very smart rooms, all with Sea/Harbour views and very reasonably priced. Always stay there now when in Poole. Good food and Beer as well.

I've stayed there lots this year. Agree with Richard & Jono's comments.
It's excellent.
£60/room/night B&B.
Dinner costs ~£15 for three courses (NB need to book restaurant during popular weekends).
Superb Slipway Bar on the first floor with stunning views.
Highly recommended.

Unlike most hotels, you get "proper" bowls and glasses - They are used to feeding the crews!

First class "hotel".
