We bought that one that you were interested in from Saundersfoot. The are good commercial boats but expensive to fix

SR8.4

OK, i seem to remember that particular 8.4 being in very good condition and solidly built.

What do you use her for exactly and how does she fair up in the rough/seakeeping wise?

If its not too much to ask, i would appreciate it if you could post a pic or 2 of her (if you have any that is). Ive only ever seen that 1 in the flesh before and was very impressed but to be honest, i dont think Avon employ the best photographers so im struggling to remember exactly what they look like!

Cheers

Art the moment wee use the Avon foir exploring purposes, we are exploring how much our diesel system will cost to get going properly.

When she is on the water we will use her for commercial work, and pleasure. She is a good rough weather boat as you don't have to slow down much for the Wavelets. Before we started work on the engine we managed to get about 40 knots out of her so she should be good for an average of 30-35 Knots. when the engine is back in we will test the speed out with our trusty Garfmin GSP

We will post some photos of the project, theres a very nice one of me sobbing uncontrollably when we got the bill from the pump specialists

cheers
Stuart

Great, the pics would be a great help.

When you say project/diesel system what do you mean? I dont seem to remember her needing a refit?! (Or are you just modifying her to suit your needs?)

Will look forward to seeing her.

Cheers,

SEB

WE bought him with a known problem water had got into the fuel system due to a split tank. We had the tank and fuel system repaired but the tank split again. Fuel system went again....Big Bucks we know have a plastic tank.
