hopefully the tubes will be sorted in the next couple of weeks, I'll post some pics when I get it back

I didn't get a good look but the console looked great

It does look big without the tubes but I think that it will be awesome when the tubes are on.

I was amazed that the tubes were so far gone given the age of the hull, but the hull looked mint.

As I say, just had a quick look really as there's so much to see there - I was like a kid in a toy shop

Can't wait to see it finished as the SR4 has always suffered due to the original small rescue console.

I think you may have just built a wave jumping beast

ah well, the hull looks mint after Mike's hard work, looked a bit shabby before hand the tubes had really suffered from being left moored up somewhere, shame really but at least it gave me the chance to buy it at a price that made it worth re-tubing it should be a nice little rib when all sorted

I am hoping that the new tubes will be sorted this week and I can collect it from SIT, I will post some pics when I get it back home

next job will be sorting the stainless steel A frame, seat backs etc, then off to get the seat cushions and cover made

hopefully I can get these jobs sorted before my next stay in hospital, op is due on 28th November, assuming it doesn't get cancelled again

fitting the engine and sorting steering etc will have to wait till I'm fit again, and 2014 warms up a bit

Chris, I think an SR4 reunion is called for in 2014.. Either in the UK or over here in St Malo, there's some pretty cool SR's out there and it would be a shame not get them all together.

If there's enough interest I would be happy to organise it for over here in Brittany/ Normandy. I can assist with transport too as I go back and fwd to the UK every two weeks anyway ( normally with either a van or my truck)

I'l see how it pans out...

Simon
