the best bit of the 276c was the fact it was so flexible, which is probably why Garmin ditched it! depending on what you wanted it for, you could change data cards so it could be used as a route planer for your drive to the slipway, then just change the card and it's a chartplotter, you could even add a transducer through a black box for depth etc. or add another card with air navigation charts, brilliant piece of kit
I used it with the OS map reference settings applied, so you could pin point you actual position on a map, very useful in a forest. glad I can use it again on the SR4, nice piece of kit
