AVON Serial Number

I recently purchased a used Avon Searider 5.4 from the Coast Guard. I don`t know what the model year is yet I have the serial number -avb19611m31a. I think you can decipher the year from the SN, can anyone help. Any other information from the SN would be appreciated as well.
