Avon Searider 740

[Searider SR740]

Last year i bought a Avon Searider 740 with a 200 hp Volvo diesel inboard.
The boat is a ex Norwegian Navy and in perfect condition. The engine has less than 500 hours and is maintained after the maintanece program of the Navy.
Me and my family ( wife and two kids ) loves the boat and we are using it for diving and fishing trips.
Does any one have a sugestion of approx. market price of this Rib?

Im also about to buy another SR740 - without engine, but thinking of installing a Volvo KAD 300 or a D6 350.
Is this engines to big for the boat? comments?
I have locked "all over" the internett to fine some information about the Searider 740/840. The only information i could find is at Avons Web site.

wow great boats we have an 8.4 with a 435hp lump in it so I should think you could put the bigger engine in yours! they are very strongly built but just get a marine engineer to take a look at the engine bay and tell you if it's OK

could you get a Cummins mercruiser in the engine Bay
