Avon Searider 4.0 A-Frame

Ok, So I have a searider. Best little boat on the market, and i bought it last year for a song, on E-Bay.
So cheap, i felt bad. So this summer, Babydoll is getting a engine upgrade, Yam 30 going up to 50 hp ptt, and with some glass work, the seats are getting stiffened up, guess 20 years of bouncing about took its toll.

Trailer is in bad shape, would love a small roller, so looking at indespention COASTER SWING MINI or similar. comments ??

However, one addition i would really like to make is a small (ish) A-Frame.
Open to any suggestions or offers.
I have seen some design here and on the internet, however Avon have never made bolt on A-Frame so looks like everything out there is custom made.
There was one design where the transom support arms were incorporated into a double tube a-frame. very nice !

So.... fellow ribnetters and searider owners, any chance you would take a minutes to post your comments, idea's and photo's and help a fellow ribb'er make his old boat shine once more !

Many Thanks
DonegalDan

SR Owners Alert! - this man needs a design for a compact A frame, he's got a box full of electrics/electronics and if he doesn't get them strapped onto that RIB soon, his girlfriend is going to put them on ebay

copy Matt H's mod to the Avon Ali hoop I think it features in his searider build thread.

I'd be looking at a different roller coaster t an indispension. the way the rollers are fastened to the axles causes them to fall off over time) and when you are recovering the boat the axle sans roller gouges the hull.......fkkn great! I'd lok at an SBS, Snipe, Degraff, Bramber

So after serious downtime, he did indeed fit a Yammie 50. Nothing would do DD but run her sea trials in a thunder storm, so we didn't need a soundtrack. I took the camera out AFTER the lightning and torrential rain stopped. Thank God for Fladens

Rib and Owner somewhat Shaken... and well Stirred!
